Description
High Current Shunt Resistor for Precision DC Current Measurement
The High Current Shunt Resistor is designed for accurate DC current measurement in high-power electrical systems. Available from 100A to 600A with 75mV voltage output, this low resistance current shunt provides stable voltage drop, excellent thermal performance, and reliable measurement accuracy for demanding industrial applications.
Manufactured with 6J12 manganin alloy sensing elements and T2 copper terminals, this shunt resistor combines high current capability with low temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR), ensuring measurement stability under continuous load conditions.
Compared with conventional current sensing methods, a metal shunt resistor provides a direct and accurate solution for monitoring DC current in battery systems, power supplies, energy storage equipment, and industrial power applications.

Why Use Manganin Shunt Resistor for High Current Measurement?
In high current DC systems, accurate measurement depends not only on resistance value but also on thermal stability and material characteristics.
Manganin alloy is widely used in precision shunt resistors because of:
Stable Resistance Over Temperature
Low TCR helps maintain consistent voltage output when current load and temperature change.
Low Power Loss
The low resistance structure minimizes I²R power consumption during continuous operation.
Reliable High Current Connection
Copper terminals provide excellent electrical conductivity and mechanical strength for high current applications.
